My 💜 for content creation started at the age of 8, when I found an old camcorder laying around the house. After playing with the buttons, I realized I could film a “show and tell” (or what we would now call a vlog…) of my entire tamagotchi collection … and that was the start to my journey as a content creator.
Fast forward to a decade later, that same kid would never believe that she was able to direct her own short film, collaborate with creators from around the world, learn to fly a drone, and even start her own freelance business!
Over the years, I’ve gotten many questions on what camera equipment I use.
I’ve switched gear many times, so I’ve listed what I would recommend for different levels of experience.
Whatever the level, I think the person behind the camera is far more important than how “expensive” or “complex” your equipment is, so invest in yourself first as your costs can quickly snowball.
